Training and Meeting the Beast(Complete)

Raiden walked towards another training field, this time however she had two scrolls that she was going to train with. Since she did not have a sensei, she had to learn from scrolls or from the random ninja that she met on the street. For the last few days she had felt a little weird. Her chakra felt like it was on fire, or becoming steam-like. The girl did not know what that meant, but she was going to ignore the sensation of the weird feeling for the training. She however did not know it was her Bijuu trying to force her into unconsciousness so she could meet the beast in her subconscious. She had a bouquet of pure white lilies in her hands.

The redhead continued to walk through the crowds towards the training fields. The one that she was heading towards was training field three, it held three wooden pillars sticking out of the ground with the Memorial Stone near the three wooden pillars. It was mostly abandoned so the girl could do whatever she wanted in the field, since no one really went to the field much aside from going there to pay their respects for their fallen comrades that had died in the field.

The girl, was heading to the training field in order to do both pay her respects for her fallen comrades; as well as train to show them that the Will of Fire was still burning strong and that a new generation was taking the torch and letting it burn with pride from her heritage. Even though Raiden wasn't born in Konoha, she still considered it her home and wanted to protect the village even if it meant giving her life in the process of protecting it.

The girl arrived at the ground and walked towards the memorial stone and set the lilies in front of it. Standing up and taking a step back, the girl clapped her hands together and said a short prayer for her senpai and comrades so they can enjoy their afterlife without having to worry about their home and their comrades that were still among the living. The redhead opened her eyes, and said "Senpai, I hope you are all enjoying your afterlives. Know that I will help protect what you sacrificed yourselves for." She bowed to the stone in thanks before walking towards the treeline.

Sitting down next to a tree, she was about to practice her tree walking. But first the redhead wanted to make sure that she understood the exercise before she started tree walking. The feeling of her chakra continued to burn hot within her, the girl didn't know what was wrong with her chakra and pushed the feeling down. It was distracting her from reading. The girl started to sweat slightly while she read the instructions for the exercise.

The girl was finding that the constant fluctuations in her chakra were getting annoying, but was ignoring it until she completed the training that she had gone to the training grounds to do. She had wanted to get another specialty for a while now and doing these would help her chakra control enough so that she would be able to begin on her Ninjutsu training. She grinned while she put the scroll away. Nodding, all she had to do was focus her chakra to her feet and run at the tree while attempting to stick to it while running up it.

Forming the ram seal with her hands, she concentrated her chakra to her feet. It was amazingly easy for her to do so. She wondered why it was so easy, she would just have to find out later when she wasn't busy training. It might of been the elemental training that she had done that gave her such good chakra control; or was it the beast within that was helping her? She would find out soon enough. Once the proper amount of chakra was applied to her feet, or so she thought; the girl ran at the tree. She unsheathed her katana while the girl ran towards the tree, she was going to use her weapon to keep track of her progress.

Upon reaching the tree, the girl sped up the tree while trying to get to the highest possible point that she could get. Upon reaching three meters from the ground, she felt herself starting to slip off of the wood and jumped away from the tree while flipping and making a gash there. Having landed on her feet, the redhead figured that she started to use less chakra than what she originally intended to do, so went back to her starting point. She had to keep a constant flow of chakra instead of quick bursts like what most jutsu used.

The redhead wondered if she could apply this principle to her katana after she mastered this in order to attack using her elements with her kenjutsu instead of just with the blade. The girl also knew she would have to design new kenjutsu techniques in order to become deadlier with her weapon of choice instead of simply using what she knew.

Raiden thought about her master and wondered if Cloud would teach her some of his kenjutsu techniques or if she would have to create her own. Shaking her head, she focused her chakra to her feet with the Ram seal and ran back towards the tree. The teenaged girl wanted to master this exercise within a day and start on the next one sooner rather than later, she knew if she had more control over her chakra, she'd be even deadlier in the field due to her being able to use less chakra for techniques meaning she'd be able to use more of them without deplenishing her chakra levels.

Having reached the tree, the girl started to run up it once more before reaching her last mark and pushing it by three feet. Falling and marking the tree, the girl had landed on her feet once more. It seemed as though she was making progress with the exercise and could slightly feel the effects of the gained chakra control. It was easier for her to suppress the heat that she could feel building within her coils.

For a little while at least, the beast within her was building up the pressure on them in order to force her to pass out and make her meet it for the first time. It was a pacifistic beast, that did not want to be sealed into the human he was in. But that did not mean it was not willing to at the very least help her by giving her it's power. She had earned the beast's respect by continuing to travel her path even when her team and sensei had abandoned her. The girl even grew stronger since that first day that she was on her own.

Smirking, Raiden focused more chakra to her feet and started to run at the tree once more. This time she had pushed more chakra into her feet than before and had started to run up the tree at her maximum speed in an attempt to reach the top of the tree this time without fail. With a battle cry she pushed her last attempt by several feet and was not stopping. Eventually she had gotten to the very tip of the top of the tree and stood on one of the branches.

She had done it! She had mastered the Tree Walking exercise, and the girl was sticking to the branch she was on using her chakra in order to keep herself from falling. Walking back down to the ground using her chakra to stick to the tree she yawned and stretched slightly, it was going to be a long day. The girl just knew that her attempts at the next exercise was going to be simply horrible, but the girl knew that she had to do them in order to complete that training.

The redheaded teenager sat at the edge of the small lake before putting her finger into it to see how cold it was. She shivered slightly, maybe it'd be a better idea if she were to do this at the hotsprings where she wouldn't catch a cold from failing in her chakra exercise. But she did not have a bathing suit, and had reserved this training ground for the day so the girl could simply take her clothing off without getting stared at for forgoing clothing, or being perved on.

The other ninja didn't bother with the training ground she was in for the most part anyways, it was almost like the Hokage forbade everyone but her from using the training grounds for some weird reason. The girl never saw any other ninja in the training grounds that she used on a frequent basis, but that probably would be because she generally used them at night and slept during the day.

Standing up, she took a quick look around her before smiling. It seems as though she was completely alone, which was perfect. The girl sat down, before pulling out the scroll that she had on water walking. Reading through it, she nodded along to the words. She was gonna attempt the exercise directly after she was finished reading the scroll. She hummed to herself while reading. After a few minutes of reading the girl stood up and tucked the scroll away into her robe. She was about to attempt this for the first time before thinking better of it.

Stepping back away from the lake, she walked towards the Memorial Stone before taking her clothing off and placing it in a neat pile at the foot of the Stone. She wondered if her dead comrades knew what she was doing. Shrugging the thoughts away, the innocent girl walked back to the lake completely naked. Focusing her chakra to her feet, she prodded the water with a single toe.

She felt resistance from the water, and had just realized how cold the water was. Thinking about the solution, she wondered what would happen if she were to concentrate fire chakra throughout her body while focusing on the water walking. She supposed it'd allow her to gain even more chakra control than before especially if she keeps it away from her feet during the training so she doesn't heat the water up.

Nodding to herself, the girl performed the ram hand seal and started to circulate fire chakra through her body in order to keep it warm while she did the training. Nodding, the girl slowly edged into the deep deep water. She was steady for a couple of seconds before her feet started to sink into the waves.

Eyes wide, she tried to force more chakra into her feet before falling into the water, and drenching her completely. Swimming to the top, the girl pulled herself onto the dirt shore. She felt the dirt under her turn into mud from the water, and ignored it. She would get clean by falling into the water repetitively. Standing up, the redhead focused her chakra once more.

She built it up and made it flow through her. The heat from the fire chakra she was circulating through her made the water evaporate from her skin. What she did not know, is that the fire chakra she was flowing through her was giving the beast within a window of opportunity to attempt to draw her into the hidden seal on the small of her back. It was hidden by her long red hair.

The redhead, focused her chakra to her feet before walking onto the water again. This time she was able to stay standing on top of the water while she kept focusing chakra consciously without taking a step. It was slight progress, but progress nonetheless. She breathed deeply, before taking a slow but steady step.

Upon contact with the water, she started to go under before falling into the water. Sinking deep into the water, she clenched a fist in anger. Going back to the surface, the girl spat out some water before getting back on the shore. She wondered what she was doing wrong, she could stay on top of the water without taking a step.

'Maybe if I compensate for the walking, it'll be able to work. But what about running and subconsciously focusing the chakra,' she thought to herself while molding fire natured chakra to get her dry as well as warm herself up from the cold water. The girl cracked her knuckles, before focusing chakra to her feet once more in order to walk on water. She was going to run on to the water and not stop until she sank or was in the center of the lake and then sink into the deep water yet again.

The girl was quite sure that she was going to succeed this time; the redhead was not going to stop now. Having focused the chakra, she gave a mighty shout, "FUCK YEAH!!!!" Before launching herself at the water, she did not care what happened this time just that the adrenaline would help her go as far as she could before falling into the waves of the small lake. Pumping her powerful legs, the girl ran nonstop onto the water. She continued to run along the top of the water.

It seemed as though she was going to succeed in getting to the center of the lake. Her concentration was spot on, but she was slowly starting to sink as the lake got deeper. She pushed more chakra into her feet, and succeeded in staying on top of the water. It seemed as though she was getting the hang of the exercise, until something happened.

A red cloak wrapped around the girl before she fell face first into the water. Anbu arrived on the scene to start fighting the threat of the tail beast that emerged at the training ground mere seconds later. They had arrived to a scene that they would not soon forget. The supine form of Raiden was floating on top of the water while the red cloak of chakra covered her. She was completely unconscious.

Gathering her and her things up, the Anbu dressed her before bringing her to the hospital. Little did they know the beast called her into the seal in order to introduce itself…


Brown eyes snapped open suddenly, before the girl looked around to see where she was. The area around her appeared to be some sort of superheated swampland mixed with a forest. She had no idea where she was. Standing up, she continued to look around while gulping. What did she get herself into now? She wondered, while taking a step and finding herself standing on top of a extremely hot pond.

Steam was everywhere, she had no idea where she was. But it felt extremely nice, all of a sudden a gentle and feminine voice float through the steam, "Come here little one, don't be scared…" The redhead gulped slightly before following the voice. She did not register that she was completely clothed in a formal kimono. Looking around, the girl saw that the scenery was peaceful, and what she mistook for swampland was actually a mess of hot springs that she could relax in.

It was a highly peaceful place that she was in. Looking up at the sky she saw that the sky was no sky. It just had a green ceiling, as if they were inside a humongous building. The girl was starting to freak out about this entire thing. Raiden, continued to follow the relaxing and gentle voice as if in a trance. She turned a corner that she did not realize was there, she came face to face with a cage that was keeping a humongous beast behind it.

Feeling fear, she realized that the thing in front of her was one of the nine tailed beasts. The beast within the cage spoke, "Don't be scared, little one. I will not harm you, if you die I will also die. I am sealed inside of you." The beast finished while attempting a smile on it's dolphin-like face. Staring at the beast, the redhead was completely silent. The teenager was absolutely horrified that she was the host of such a humongous creature of destruction.

"My name is Kokuo, little one. May I perchance learn your name, little one?" She spoke with politeness and gentleness in her voice. Something about the dolphin-horse that was Kokuo just calmed the girl, it was if the girl could not be scared or horrified for long while talking to Kokuo. She was at peace, and did not know it was partly due to the calming aura that Kokuo was excreting from it's body.

"My name is Himura Raiden, Kokuo. It is a pleasure to meet you," the girl honestly said while wondering what was happening. If the beast was sealed within her, did that mean she was in the seal, or did the beast get unsealed temporarily somehow. She would've remembered a huge chakra monster escaping her body, wouldn't she?

The teenager was confused about this entire thing, as well as the fact that she was calmly thinking about it like that. It was as if, Kokuo's chakra had a calming effect due to it's pacifistic ways, and did not want to harm others. But little did the girl know, the beast was going to allow the girl to use it's chakra so the teenager might survive this life, and live to a grand old age with plenty of great great grandchildren. The beast was going to ask only one thing, allow it to be free in a extremely remote place at the end of the teenager's natural life.

"Raiden-chan, I will allow you to use my chakra. It should be easy for you to do so, due to the calming effects of my chakra. My only wish is for you to live a very long life, and at the end of it; release me so I may be free to simply roam the vast plains of the world," the bijuu said while looking at the girl. It hoped that the girl would agree to the deal and not simply allow the ninja in her village to reseal it into a different host when it was time for her to pass on.

The girl thought about the terms and it sounded good, very good. It was if the beast was planning on helping her instead of resisting in the chakra transferring. The girl wondered what would happen to Konoha after the beast's release if she agreed to these terms. "Would you do anything to harm my home once you're released? If not, would you help protect my home if one of the shinobi that protects it asks for your help?" The redhead asked while looking at the beast while hoping that it would agree to them. Even if it didn't for the second one, she would agree as long as Kokuo did not attack Konoha.

"I will not harm your home, Raiden-chan. However, the second one must be on a unprovoked attack by at least two other of your hidden villages," she said while looking down at the smallish girl. It was better than what she was hoping for, and the girl bowed to the mighty beast. "I accept your terms, Kokuo," the girl said, before the beast nodded and blew on the girl to send her back to the real world.
