Training to stay top Chunin (Training)

Kumagawa sat at the training grounds, his eyes peering directly at the target before him. After meeting the Anbu Captain, it was painfully obvious to Kuma that he needed to become stronger. The man had taken out two guards in a flash and had shown only a sliver of reason he was called the Bloody Flash. Kumagawa looked over at the dummies he would constantly beat on. What could he do in order to become a shinobi of that caliber. He would have to figure out a way to be just as fast as that man. But first he needed to strengthen his own stamina.

He would turn and look at his hands. He knew he lacked physical strength. Something that he needed desperately. Getting down on his hands he would begin to start doing push ups. At first it was easy, so much so that he thought he could do a 100 in 10 minutes. Though once he got to 25 he could feel his arms get heavy. He could feel himself struggle to lift himself up. Slowly but surely his breath would get heavier and heavier. His muscles would get more and more exhausted as the strain would to grow ever more increasingly.

Taking a deep breath he would rise once more. As the number rose higher by the minute it wasn't until the 30 minute mark did he finally reach the 100 he would rise and soothe the pain in his arms. "Maybe I should have started with Cardio." Getting up he would start running around the village. He would jog slowly towards his destination, the same place where he started. He had received a challenge from He planned on running the circumference of the village and say hi to all the villagers as he passed. It only took half the circumference of the village before he was out of breath.

"Huff.... Huff.." Is this as much as I can do.

Kuma would walk the rest of the way before returning to wait for someone at the training area. He had received a challenge to spar with an opponent not too long ago. It was over the title of top Chunin. Because of his pride as a Uchiha had no choice but to accept the challenge even though he knew very little about who had challenged him. He had just received a folded up piece of paper with the words 'I challenge you' written in plain bad hand writing. Standing in the training field the young Uchiha opened up the letter to confirm the place and time. He was here exactly when and where it was specified. Moving over to one of the training wood stump, the Uchiha sat on the stump and awaited for the challenger to appear. The last part of his training for today.

Kaiden ran to the training ground, already knowing his opponent was there. He was ready to prove how strong he was to everyone in Litigants, by beating the top chunin. He slowly walk on the ground, searching for where his opponent could be "I know I right sloppy but there no way he could of got that confused" he thoughtless to himself. Kaiden notice his opponent sitting on a wood stomp. "Yo, I guess you accepted my challenge"he said, as he walk in front of the Uchiha. He heard many tales of how strong Uchiha Shinobi are, he was ready to test it. Kaiden couldn't remember the last time he fought, he had the fighting spirit in him. His right arm was soak up with water moisture, turning his arm bigger and stronger. He took his heavy sword of his back, waving it around ready for his opponent to strike.

Kuma looked at the shinobi. He recognized him he was the annoying Hozuki that was famous for doing dumb things to show his strength. Though to Kuma it was more like Kai was showing his stupidity but that was besides the point. He had accepted the challenge from the Hozuki and that in itself was something for Uchiha to be cautious of. Not many clans could rival the Uchiha but the Senju and Hozuki had done just that. Though in the end theUchiha would come out on top. Pulling a kunai from his leg pocket. Making no true indication of his next movement and not responding what Kai said, he moved at Kai using his Kunai to stab at his neck. Whether or not he would stop it the Kunai would stop inches from his neck at the Uchiha would jump in a crescent moon shape above Kai. Once he was behind him the Uchiha would begin to use his Kunai to slash at Kai's back and shoulder. Kuma took great care to avoid killing the shinobi though he highly doubted that any of his attacks would hurt him. Once his attack was completed he would jump away from Kai a few feet back.

Kai laughed, thinking how stupid for Kuma to use taijustu on a Hozuki. Before the kunai could even touch him, his whole body turn into liquid. The kunai went right though him "and here I thought you was smart"he said, as he started to laugh again. Kai was still in liquid form, when Uchiha attack from the back of him. When Kuma step a few step back, he knew it was time for him to strike. He charge at Kuma, griping his heavy sword in his huge muscular arm. Kai was getting ready to slash right in the middle on his opponent. He had hopes on Kuma was going to be strong, but sadly he had no skills.

The Uchiha wasn't surprised that his attack was ineffective. Actually he had expected it; he was aware of the Hozuki shinobi's kekkei genkai. They had a liquid body they could stand up to whatever was thrown at them. Unless it was raiton and unfortunately This Uchiha was fresh out of lightning bombs, if those ever existed. So this Uchiha was forced to use the two things he had, his physical prowess and his head. It was all he had at this point. He should have expected to fight a Hozuki but that unfortunately was beyond his foresight. When he noticed the Hozuki coming at him with his overly large arm and sword. Cursing to himself he pulled a sword out as he threw a Kunai at Kai's chest. When Kai swung his sword at Kuma's midsection Kuma lifted his sword to block the attack. Due to the fact that Kuma's feet weren't firmly planted on the ground he wasn't able to exert any strength to give any resistance as he blocked the blow. So instead he was sent flying to the left rather than be cut in two. He stopped just inches from the tree on all fours narrowly avoiding being smashed into the tree and being cut by the sword. Standing up and rubbing his neck he finally said something. "How disappointing. Is this all the strength you have?"

Kaiden body turn into liquid, as the kunai went right through him "hmmm I wonder how I should dispose of trash". He watch By a block his attack, flying toward a tree "why would I use 2% of my skills on you?"he said, as he laugh at his joke. Kaiden perform the proper hand signs "hidden mist justu", the area slowly fog up. Kaiden was nowhere to be seen, if his opponent can't see him giving him the upper advantage here. There was no shadow in sight, he targeted right for By a with a sneak attack from behind. He intended on killing him and hiding his remaining in the bushes, he bang his sword on the ground, making it the only thing you could hear in the mist. Kaiden rush right for By a with an high kick from the air.

Kuma nodded. "If that is 2% of your strength than I'd hate to see what kind of sorry show you put on at 100%"Kuma said not laughing at the boy's bad joke. When the boy began to make handsigns Kuma began to put up his guard. Ninjutsu wasn't his strong point but he knew how to overcome the pathetic technique of a Hozuki. When the mist began to form Kuma sighed, His vision was now being obstructed, he could either get to higher ground and wait out the mist or he could fight off the hozuki in the mist. Kuma decided to go with the first option. He threw his guard up getting in position where all his vitals are protected. The stance seemed weird to anyone watching from afar. Either way all of his vitals were protected and if he wanted too he would be able to ram into an opponent. As he was about to escape the mist he felt something collide into his blade that protected the side of his head. He guessed it was his opponent, if the opponent was solid no doubt his leg would be bleeding but since it was a hozuki most likely it would transform into water. Sighing he would shake his head to throw whatever that came at his head off and would jump and climb all the way to the top of the trees, above the mist.

Kaiden turn into water before the bone of By a head can wound his leg. He jump back, when Kuma shake his head"time for 62% now" he said, as he hid himself back into the mist. Even though Kuma was on high ground, there was no way he could see into thing through the mist. Kaiden had an idea it was time for him to stop wasting his chakra, he put his sword on the back of him, as his right arm went back to it original form. He decided to wait for his opponent to come back into the mist, there was no way he could stay up there for the whole fight. "It ok to be scared lot of people are" teasing him to come back on the ground, he knew Uchiha had a lot of pride. Kaiden laugh walking in the mist, he took a sip of his water to keep himself hydrated. He had no plans or a solution to how to win the fight, he was ready to let faith decide to outcome of the battle.

Kuma looked down as he stood on the tree. Standing there he activated his sharingan. There he stood, he had no plans of leaving until the mist was gone. "Only cowards hide in the mist" was Kuma's response. Even though the Hozuki's insult stung, he knew how deadly the mist could be especially since there was no benefit for him. Standing on the tree he stood waiting, seemed this battle would be a battle of attrition, who would come out first. He crossed his arms as he looked down into the mist. He couldn't see anything inside but the sound of the Hozuki's laugh was obvious. From his pocket the Uchiha produced three shuriken. Throwing them at the source of the laugh which had to be the Hozuki. After throwing them he stood on the tree waiting the boy's response

The shuriken went right for Kaiden, he didn't want to waste no chakra. He couldn't tell where the shurikens would come from inside the mist, three zoom right pass his face leaving three scratch marks, the blood drop from his face. Everything was quiet in the mist, the next you knew you saw him jumping out of the mist heading right for Kuma "how dare you bruise the untouchable!!!!!!!l"he said, with anger in his tone. It turn from a competitive spar into a serious fatal match, he took sips of his water bottle puting it right into his pocket. "You think I need to hide from a coward like you!" he said, as he was still in the air coming right for him "there a difference between predators and prey im the shark and your the fish!!!!!" Kaiden quoted. His eyes had hatred in them, he was tempting to kill Kuma right on the spot he stands on.

Kuma's eyes widened surprised that his shuriken had hit the Hozuki. He mostly expected for the little coward to stay, stuck in the mist. Fortunately it seemed that the Hozuki came out first. Lifting a few more shuriken using his summoning wristbands to summon them he threw more shurikens at the flying Hozuki. Sending the shurikens at The Hozuki's body and his water bottle he had just pulled out. "Interesting, You’re the shark and I'm the fish? Let me clarify something... You may be the shark but I’m a dolphin, and even sharks know... Not to fuck with a dolphin." Kuma said, mentally smacking himself in the head. That sounded a lot cooler in his head.

Kaiden was to enrage to care about the shurikens flying toward him, he let his guard down letting one of the shuriken cute his right shoulder. The rest of the shurikens cut through his pants, the pain gutted but it really didn't matter that much to him. He started to laugh "you think those piece of crap can stop me, there no need to turn into water"he said, as he laugh uncontrollably. His eyes were focus on one thing Kuma, he want his sword to rip open to finally take them toothpick of a bones out of him. Kaiden arm buff up again, he took his sword from his back "time to use 100% on you!!!!!!!!!!". The mist on the ground cleared up, there was hope that this battle would in with one of them down for good.

"Hmmm maybe I'll do the same." Kuma said stripping his jacket showing his scar covered upper body. Throwing his jacket away he lifted his sword to block the sword slash from above. "Really? That's you 100% My grandmother is stronger than that" The Uchiha taunted. Unfortunately weight of the large sword and the Hozuki and the Uchiha combined was too much for the branch the Uchiha was standing on. It snapped, and now the Uchiha and the Hozuki were now both falling from 25 ft in the air. The Uchiha was on the bottom and the Hozuki was on the top in the falling order. Using his strength The Uchiha pushed his sword to push the Hozuki away from him so that they were on an equal level falling. Unfortunately the amount of force he used also bounced back at him causing him to be pushed back into a tree. His feet smacking into the tree, he pushed off and aimed his blade hoping to cut the Hozuki's midsection.

Kaiden use his sword to clash with Kuma sword "learn your place there no way you can beat someone as skilled in kenjustu". Kaiden calm down his anger, it was time to worry about the battle. He push his sword even more into the bone sword, hoping it was enough strength to break it into half. His muscle shake trying to hold his sword steady, and still making it strong. In Kaiden mind all he can think of is how much blood would he would have to clean off his sword. He pressure his sword to the limit, he started to sweat after all of the strength he had to use "there one thing I always known about you, every time you think your powerful but in reality. Your just another person who underestimate ......... a Hozuki". Kaiden had common sense to know there no way a heavy sword like this can't beat some skinny blade, or is he just underestimating his opponent?

Kuma smiled slightly, his sword was harder than steel. It was a piece of Kuma's body and even if it would seem like it would break, he would just reinforce it with chakra. But before hand he hadn't and luckily the branch had broken before the Hozuki's sword could cut through Kuma's. Now freefall Kuma didn't need to worry about his sword's strength or the weight of the other sword since they were equal leveling. It didn't stop him from reinforcing his blade with his chakra. His sword did crack slightly but it didn't break. Kuma didn't say anything as he could feel the blade crack as if it was apart of his body but he still felt no pain. But it didn't matter he knew exactly how he was going to end this. "You know, as conceited as you think I am, there is something you will never understand... Hozikis are cowards.. and the Uchiha are the strongest clan."

Kuma would use his  sword to push himself away from the Hozuki. His feet smacked into the side of a tree, pressed his hands onto the the entirety of the sword. Then he threw it like a spear at the Hozuki. If he didn't stop it it would pierce his chest. "Besides, I never underestimated you." The moment the sword would come into contact with anything it would explode. Kuma had covered the bone in explosive tags.

Kai turned into water, when the sword cam right at him. Unfortunately there were paper bombs attach to it, as soon the bone sword made contact with his illiquid body there was a explosion causing some of the tree near them to explode. Kaiden liquid body scatter across the battlefield, water drip on the side of the trees. The water started to move close to one another, reforming his body again. "you truly are strong, but there one thing everybody always forget about a me I'm immortal"he said, laughing. He lean back on a tree to give him an extra boost at Kuma " I never used 110% on no body in my whole life". Kaiden blink twice, "Kuma Uchiha! There something I always wanted to ask you how does it feel to have power? Does it make you feel good about yourself? Or is it just a curse" he said, with a smirk on his face. He wave his sword in the air coming right back at Kuma, both free falling and fighting at the same time.

Kuma wasn't surprised that the boy reformed. In fact he took the time that the boy was reforming by pulling out two kunai. Sighing he lifted his kunai and pushed off of the tree moving upwards after pooling his chakra to his feet to dodge the Hozuki's slash. Then pushing off a branch from above down at the Hozuki.using his sword he slashed down at the Hozuki's shoulders. "Ha, In my clan I'm no powerful than the average shinobi." He smiled. "I don't know what you mean by what it means by having power... I don't have much power. I'm still far from my goal. But what I do know is this. In my clan power isn't everything.. Strength is."

Kaiden form his body into water, the kunai flew right passed him "i truly don't understand you" he sighed "why do you still try?". He was now over Kuma still free falling. Kaiden took a sip of his drink one last time "you know there a chance I will survive this fall, but you tried your best to get this far" he said, as he laugh. He grip his sword "i won't kill you this time"he said, he then put his sword on the back of him. Kaiden muscle shrink back to it normal form, he yawned thinking how long the battle was going to be. Without a warning he look down to do a powerful kick on Kuma "i just want to finish this already, fighting for this long make me to tired".

Kuma smiled. "Why do I try?" He asked. Kuma spun around with his sword and slashed at the Hozuki as he laughed at Kuma's attack. "Hm? You say that like I'm going to lose." As the Hozuki began to send what he would think to be his final attack. Kuma smiled as he formed a single handsign. He smiled as Kaiden attacked with a power kick. Kuma would disappear in a puff of smoke. "I try because that's who I am." Kuma said as he reappeared on higher up tree branch. "If you want this fight to be over you can give up... But have a nice fall."

"WHAT THE HELL!!!!!"he said, he had a scared look on his face. Kaiden look at the ground, as it seem it was getting closer to his face. He showed to fear, just a weird expression on his face. He chuckle "Kuma I guess you won this round, but next time we having a death match". Kaiden knew he would not get hurt by the fall, as he flew down even closer to the ground a branch hit his face. He land flat on his face on the ground, he didn't want to waste his chakra to turn into water. Kaiden felt like all his bones were dust "hey Kuma got an extra bone I could use, I think I broke all of mines"he said, as he laugh at his terrible joke. The pain he felt the most is the sword on his back crushing him. "Man I hate losing".

Kuma couldn't help but wince when the Hozuki hit the ground. He had expected for the Hozuki to turn into water or something. Not to take the entire brunt of the branch and hit the ground face first. Kuma sighed at the Hozuki's horrible joke and turned around to leave after saying his last comment."Hopefully next time you won't break yours in the process." Before using a body flicker to head back into the village. Smiling he mentally congratulated himself, he had beaten a Hozuki using mainly Taijutsu. His family would be happy to know that Kuma won, and he still kept the title of 'Top Chunin'
