Gaining the Water Element(Training)(Mai)

Raiden walked towards the training grounds with another scroll in her possession. It seemed as though she was being possessed by something to learn two specific elements. She had learned Katon so easily it was nearly scary at how easy she had learning it especially since her natural Element was Fuuton. But she did not know any of this. She had a new scroll which meant her capabilities would soon broaden and allow her to become even stronger than she was before.

The teenager wondered what the exercise for this one was, she had a Suiton scroll with her and was excited to learn more. The redhead entered the training ground that she was traveling towards and sat down in the center of the grounds. It seemed as though she was going to meditate until she pulled out a scroll from the obi she wore. It was the scroll on Suiton that she was thinking about.

Opening the scroll, the young girl started to study through the steps of Water Manipulation in order to get started on this training. The girl should get a piece of chakra paper so she'll know what is her natural elemental chakra instead of simply trying to learn all five chakra natures like she was currently doing.

Reading through the scroll she found that the exercise to start gaining a Suiton affinity was relatively the same to gaining a Katon affinity. But this time she had to visualise her chakra becoming a liquid and flowing easier in order to completely dampen a leaf before drawing all of the moisture out of the leaf. It seemed simple enough, before the scroll got yanked out of her hands. Looking up, the genin jumped up. "Hey I was reading that," the redhead exclaimed! What was with people these days?

After the outburst, she listened to what the older female was explaining to her. It seemed as though she had her answer in how to tell which affinities she had instead of blindly doing exercises like this. Taking the Chakra Paper, she examined it. It seemed like she would have her answer in what she should start training in, but she was going to train with the Suiton exercise no matter what the woman said. Channeling her chakra into it, she did not concentrate on anything. She wondered what the result would be. The paper completely split in half, frowning she didn't know what this meant.

The confusion was evident on the girl's face. The redhead did not know what her element was, she assumed it would have something to do with fire since it was the only element that she had trained in. But apparently that wasn't the case. "Why didn't it burn? I have a Katon affinity, I gained one the other day by burning leaves with my chakra," she said with more of a frown on her face.

She thought about what the woman in front of her had said. It seemed as though she had another affinity that she did not know about. The redhead wondered whether or not she should go to the Academy library to find some different kinds of scrolls on various wind jutsu in order to learn them, maybe an exercise that allowed her to flow her chakra into her katana in order to try and cause more damage with it. She wasn't thinking of anything when she had flowed her chakra into the chakra paper.

Taking the paper that the woman had offered her, the redhead looked at it before closing her eyes and concentrating on her chakra. She focused on making her chakra flow like water like the woman and the scroll said. She continued to imagine her chakra flowing like water, while focusing on it to attempt to do just that. She had the paper between her thumbs and index fingers. While she concentrated on her chakra flowing like water, she started to slowly push it into the paper.

She was making the paper soak all the way through, while she concentrated on doing so. She opened her eyes and saw that she was successful. It seemed as though chakra paper was designed to easily help people get the hang of elements or just figuring out what kind of element you could succeed in being able to use. The redhead grinned in excitement! It seemed as though she was going to be able to master her third element faster than what she thought it would take!

The redhead nodded, and thought she was skipping a step in this training but didn't want to anger the stronger ninja, yet at the very least. Raiden, slowly walked over to the tree while looking at it. Touching the bark with her right hand, she felt it extremely dry under her touch. It would be quite difficult for her to accomplish this goal that the woman had set before the young Genin. With a deep breath, the girl closed her eyes. Placing her hands on the bark of the tree, she concentrated on her chakra.

It took her a shorter amount of time in order to get into the right mindset. The young girl focused on her chakra in order to make it flow like a river like she had been doing before. She breathed slowly while the chakra started to flow like a river faster than what it had been before. This time, she focused on making the flow faster, and flow more in every direction within her body. She wanted the chakra to flow like a violent and swift river within her body before she tries to push it out of her hands and onto the tree.

The girl breathed in harshly, as the violent river that was now her chakra was starting to hurt her and make it harder for her to breathe. Pushing at the chakra she made it flow outside of her body in order to start making the tree in front of her wet with the suiton natured chakra that she was pushing out of her body. Opening her eyes, she saw that the tree bark was indeed damp, but not soaked.

It seemed as though the redhead was learning quite swiftly in a short period of time. She grinned in excitement, it seemed as though her capabilities were just getting stronger and stronger! "What is the next step?" Raiden had asked the chuunin while turning towards her. Her legs felt a little like jelly but she was still able to train.

Nodding, while regaining strength in her legs. Raiden walked a bit from the tree while closing her eyes. She put her hands in the ram hand seal in order to concentrate and mold her chakra. The redhead knew that she wasn't going to fail in this training. Imagining her chakra as a violent and fast river, she breathed in and out. The feeling of her chakra becoming like a river came faster than it had earlier. The girl thought that this exercise might make a nice jutsu if she were to increase the power and chakra behind the water orb that she was going to fire out of her stomach.

The girl's stomach started to bulge slightly from the chakra transforming itself into water within her stomach. The girl started to create pressure within her stomach that would fire it out of her mouth. Opening her eyes suddenly, the girl would lean back while keeping her hands in the Ram seal. Leaning forward, she fired out the water orb from her mouth. She had fired the orb at a random tree, while it flew the water started to dissipate in the air.
