Stop the Thief![Mission]

Yuudai sighed through his bronze-colored mask as his hooded white ANBU Coat fluttered in the nighttime wind. He remained perched atop a nearby building overlooking Dunbai Dumplings, a store that doesn't sell Ramen, nor Sushi, nor anything else but Dumplings. He guessed one should stick to what they're good at, even if that's making Dumplings. As much as Yuudai would love to dump himself off somewhere else than a Dumpling making Dumpling Store he had to keep watch over it at night in order to find and dump this thief of dumplings off where all criminals belong; in prison, where Yuudai only assumed they get stuffed like dumplings in other ways. This was definitely one of the more boring of his mission assignments, though he guessed a Dumpling Thief is still more entertaining then escorting someone or finding someone's pet. He would wait atop this rooftop for what felt like years, watching over the same store over and over again. He visualized it being a situation where a gang needed eliminated or a missing ninja was held up within the store, further visualizing that he would come to save the day, attacking, overwhelming, and taking out the evil Dumpling loving criminals and getting paid a nice amount so he can create a better puppet and have even nicer equipment.

Longer and longer he waited for this fat, bald butcher knife wielding man to come, confident that he would once more take supplies from the store, and leave to either pig out from them or sell them on the all too infamous dumpling store supplies black market that has been so prevalent in the streets, with a whopping zero reports of market inactivity coming in all the while, putting the village into a panic and eventually, a shut down as the Shinobi proceeded to work to weasel out and flush the criminals out into the desert or prison, though instead of just seeing some average Joe, a typical idiot stroll down the emptied sandy street, instead he would hear some noises coming from inside the store itself. "A fat ninja Dumpling black market super-criminal, I hope." Yuudai muttered to himself with slight disgust and denial that he's still only pursuing the arrest of a regular civilian wielding a rather crude weapon for intimidation purposes. He would switch from his perched rooftop to the streets below, where he hid in an alleyway, waiting with the only side window of the store in his sight, as he saw it wide open. Surely the thief will come out where he entered, as it is the easiest thing to do when you have plenty of other things to carry on the way back to your super villainous lair, or home. Yuudai would continue waiting throughout the occasional crashing or banging sound as the criminal most likely was stumbling in the dark, waiting for his prey to appear.

Soon enough, after a few more minutes of rather audible tumbling around, Yuudai spotted the overweight, bald male crawling back through the window after dropping a bag full of things out first. That was Yuudai's cue to leave his current spot as he did not wish to be detected. He would climb up onto the nearby rooftop just as the man himself made it through the roof, where he would pick of the bag while Yuudai himself watched the entire thing happen from across the street. The man had of course looked around after lugging his newly acquired merchandise over his shoulder, waving his butcher knife at the direction of the street a couple times before running down the other direction of the alleyway, where he would be out of sight. Yuudai himself would quickly drop from the short rooftop, landing on the road in between the two lines of buildings, where he would quickly, while kicking up some sand in the process, move to the other side of the street, getting up atop the line of rooftops there, where he would silently stalk his prey from a short distance behind, remaining a little behind the slow pace of which this thief was moving.

Down and through the alleyways the man would weave with is not-so-guardian angel stalking him the entire time. every time he stopped and looked around to see if he was being followed, Yuudai would hide himself above, and every time he made a turn, Yuudai would either switch buildings or turn with him, remaining hot on his trail, which wouldn't be difficult if he even lost sight of the thief, as the clanking of some of the kitchenware within the bag would help signal the man's location to Yuudai. He was curious as to where his target was going, and how much farther away it was, as this was nearly as dull as when the man was not even showing up to steal from the place in the first place. It was almost like following a turtle compare to the races he and Munakata did just recently. He missed those moments now that he was looking back to it. While it wasn't really professional to play such childish games and go out for a spar in the middle of his doing his duties, Yuudai seriously did need the break. Speaking of breaks, it seems Yuudai's target, after dodging and weaving through various alleyways, was also taking a break, as he sat down on a box and began eating a dumpling. It was certainly his time to strike.

Yuudai would climb silently down the rooftop outside of the alleyway, where he would make his way to the entrance to the alleyway, where the bald male was sitting down, eating. "We both know your luck wouldn't last forever, thief. Give yourself up now and you will not be harmed." Yuudai stated as he stood there, praying to the Gods existing out there that this man is still some dangerous criminal, most likely terrorizing innocents into silence during the day. Instead, however, the thief, with shaky hands, would quickly grab his butcher's knife, holding it towards the ANBU Captain. "N-Never! These things are mine! Don't you have anything better to do?!" He exclaimed, only for Yuudai to quickly make his move, using his concealed gauntlet to backhand the butcher's knife out of the man's shaking hand, where the Shinobi would quickly go in, striking the thief in the jaw with the dark metal covering his right hand, knocking the bald individual out cold. "Not really." Yuudai said dismissively as he grabbed the left wrist of the man, dragging him down the street to where he will be officially arrested.
