The Taijutsu Master[Rai,Possible Mission]

The black file landed on Cloud's desk with a quiet thud. It was Genko, one of the scouts who had been in charge of finding the location of a rogue shinobi from the warring ages. Ryokuen Kirai, a Sage leveled taijutsu master who had no side in any of the wars. He fought for the pure joy of the bloodlust. As the ANBU captain opened the booklet, it had a detailed account of the mission and ended with the man being seen resided in the Hyogu coastline in the hills. "Send report to Lord Hokage, I'll be tending to this one personally. Send for Rai, I'll need his assistance."

Genko was to tell Hyuga Rai to meet his Captain at the gates as soon as possible. Cloud stood towards the forest, the sun just beaming over the trees and the warmth felt like soothe relief to his face. Ryokuen was a long term rival who had killed many shinobi. Konoha, Suna, Kumo alike and it was time to end that vicious cycle.

Rai always looked forward to the times when he could go out and serve his village. It was what he lived for, and due to his lineage, he could do so on both front. He was as good as they got when it came to healing. And when it came to battle, he was deadly. Thats why he trained brutally everyday to keep up his skill. His father wasn't around to train him anymore, but that didn't slow down his regimen. If he wasn't battered and in need of good rest, he didn't believe he had a good practice. Of course it was highly unlikely that his old man could keep up with him now.
He was in the Hyuga manor when word was sent for him. One of his branch members came to the dojo he was currently training in and told him that someone was at the door with a mission. Rai could tell that his family didn't know what to think of him. They never had someone who was supposed to be clan head choose the life of a regular shinobi. Though he wasn't banished, they also knew that the reason he wasn't leading the clan yet was that his father was waiting for his duties to Konoha to be completed so that his duties to his clan would be absolute.
But that was where there opinions differed. To Rai, his clan and his village were one in the same. He approached Genko and nodded as the shinobi bowed and told him his orders. He got to do a mission with the captain today. That meant it was highly dangerous. Those were the best kind. Smiling, Rai gathered his things and rushed out immediately, not stopping until he reached the village gates where he was to meet his superior. When there, he saw Cloud standing not too far away, standing towards the forest. Walking up to him, he bowed, something that made his father cringe every time he saw it.
"Reporting for duty, sir."

As Rai approached and claimed he was there for duty, Cloud turned and began to walk. He unlatched a scroll container and the information on Ryouken was handed to Rai. "This is the target, Ryouken Kirai.."

"We've got his location, he's too date killed three Konoha shinobi. Two chunin and a jounin who were all sent to end him. As well as shinobi from Sunagakure and Kumogakure who have all not returned from their mission and presumed or found dead." Cloud did not have an inclination of fear in his voice as he headed to the battle field.

"I've fought Ryouken three times before, each time it was interrupted or something else happened and I couldn't take him down but with your eyes and skills along with mine. We have to be ready to use any means to kill this man. Understand Rai?" The Captain turned slightly back as he walked to look at his ANBU member. He was deadly and skilled in medical jutsu, along with his Byaukgan he was a valuable asset to kill Ryouken.

Rai was completely silent as he listened intently to his captain. When he looked at the scroll, he nodded Ryouken Kirai's face was one that he definitely passed often in the bingo book. What he didn't know was the details of who he killed. Knowing that three of his own died in battle put a fire in Rai's eyes. This man had to be stopped. And he also understood the need for his particular skill sets now. The man needed to be tracked, and he was definitely going to do that. And when they found him, Rai would see just how good at taijutsu this man was.
He turned to Cloud. Seeing that the man lasted long enough against his own captain for the fight to be interrupted was a feat within itself. But with both of them there, he didn't stand a chance. Handing the scroll back to the man beside him, he looked ahead with a steely resolve.
"Understood."

The trip took near the whole day as night had just started to fall upon them when they arrived at the mouth of the hills. "Ok Rai, I need a location.." He awaited for the man to use his Kekkei Genkai and see far into the hills and find where Ryouken was in the depths of it all. Once the location was locked down it was time for action. "Ok hold on tight." Cloud threw a sealed kunia high into the air and had another special kunai ready to be thrown, his hand lightly holding Rai's arms. "This is going to happen fast. Be ready to fight."

As the first kunia was about to land in front of the small hut, Rai and Cloud's world turned dark blood red and they were sucked into what seemed like nothing. All of their breath left their body to the point of suffocation but in the same moment they were sprung back and no sooner as they appeared in the different location did Cloud throw the second kunia through the hut window. The same suffocating feeling overcame them again as they both appeared in the hut. Cloud unsheathed his large sword with surprising speed for the item and swung at the man at the dining room table.


Ryouken saw the kunia and immediately recognized it, his sword in head as the Bloody Flash of Konoha appeared with a large swipe of his sword. Blades clashed as Ryo jumped backwards. He lifted his leg upward and charged a supreme amount of chakra into his foot, slamming it downward. The entire hut(and about 20 feet in radius that surrounded it) was destroyed from the ground upward, the hut falling ontop of the two ANBU and taijutsu master.

Ryo used his quick reflexes and jumped through the rumble and landed softly on side the hill. "Bloody Flash and a Hyuuga it seems. Come to try and have your go at me?" His eyes dark and sinister for a man with such a small body..

Cloud used his large sword and swung open side against the rubble, knocking it out of his way. Rai however would have to do his own to get out as the ANBU captain jumped out into the open. His eyes met with Ryo once again. "No interruptions or other battles to stop us this time Ryouken." He pointed his sword at him with a fierce look. "We'll take your head today!"

The trip was a long and silent one. The two only spoke when necessary, and it wasn't because of any ill will between them. For Rai, this was a time when he could mentally prepare himself for battle. He constantly went over scenarios in his head, and made sure that whatever the situation was, he would come out victorious. Every thirty minutes to an hour, he would activate his Byakugan to make sure they weren't being ambushed, but in the end there was no need. No one was dumb enough to attack the two of them.

It was night by the time they arrived to there destination, at the mouth of the woods. Rai had heard Cloud telling him to give him a location, but he was already ahead of him there. His eyes scanned the landscape thoroughly until he found it, a lone chakra signature not too far away. Once he let his discovery be known he held his breath. He knew what would be coming next. Cloud threw a kunai in the sky, and the next thing you knew, they were in front of the hut. It wasn't that teleporting made him uneasy, it was just a lot to take on when you're not prepared for it.

Another Kunai through the window and they were transported into an immediate battle, Cloud swinging his giant blade which was blocked by their target. Rai put his hand on the hilt of his own katana, but was hesitant to join a sword fight with two obvious masters at the craft. He was adept at using his blade, but he feared he would get in the way as of now.

As if in slow motion, Rai watched as Ryo charged his foot up to destroy the building around him. He had already began to move when the hut collapsed, narrowly escaping the wreckage. Looking up, he saw the small man on the side of the hill, as confident as ever. But his confidence was what would get him killed. As Cloud declared they would take his head, Rai shot forward with a burst of speed, intent on incapacitating his enemy. WHen he reached, the white eyed anbu began to attack him with a barrage of strikes, hoping to overwhelm him.

Ryo saw the white eyed ANBU run with intense speed towards him and began to assault him with assault of barrages, while Cloud watched to see the movements of the man in front of him. It was almost masterful to watch as Ryouken and Rai battled it out. Blow for blow, block for block. Ryo had more than obviously fought with many of Hyuuga before with the way he avoided the gentle fist. "A member of the Hyuga Clan, Main Branch without a doubt. It seems they've kept their men strong but can you handle this!?" As the taijutsu master swung his arm around to try to land a devasting kick, the ANBU Captain was a step ahead with his handseals.

"Earth Style: Mud Wall!" A ball of mud shot upward and took the blunt of the hit as Cloud jumped into action. His body flipped over Rai's while the heavy blade came downward, but Ryo was able to block with his katana and jumped backwards. "I've got a plan. Get a good, strong offensive jutsu ready.." The blue eyes scanned strongly at Ryo, waiting for Rai to prepare.

An explosive attack hit Ryo directly on his chest area. "Hyuga Strife Style: Flash of Lions!" He called out as the taijutsu master was hit and flew across the field. Cloud landed next to Hyuga ANBU with a small smirk on his face. Cloud unsheathed a kunai and walked slowly towards the man. He ran the blade slowly across the man's neck, blood spurting outward and getting on a small piece of paper. "The end of the Taijutsu master who couldn't conform to the new world." The blonde man stood strong above the man below him.

"We worked good together there Rai." The blood from the cut on his left cheek had gotten somewhat in his blonde hair. "I'll call for the recruits to come recover the body. Shall we go then?" Cloud said as he turned to make his way away from the rubble of the battle field. "There is something I want to ask of you Rai... How do you feel about joining my personal platoon. It'll be a promotion and you will be part of my personal team I assign missions too and accompany me and the Hokage on important details... Do you accept?" The point of the mission was to see if how compatible they were together as a team.

In terms of battle, they were scary compatible.
