So how are you doing [Private/Yuudai]

The early morning sunlight was bursting through the windows of the office as Munakata sat down, hot tea in hand as he placed it to the side of his desk. With a yawn, he looked at the small stack of paperwork he had before him. Seems that it was going to be a easy day.....that is until when Munakata reached for a pen. He accidentally spilled hot tea all over the paperwork. Silence. Then, slowly, he leaned back on his chair. He leaned further and further until it was balancing on its two hindlegs. Munakata threw both his arms up and, with a stoic face, yelled. "WELL SHIT." He said, keeping his pose for a few moments.

Yuudai traversed throughout the main building of Sunagakure. Holding onto a small pile of papers detailing in various reports of ongoings within the village and reports detailing ANBU's findings, he would make his way towards the Kazekage's office in order to deliver them right away. He chose not to wear a mask unlike his fellow Black Ops members, believing that he doesn't need one for a simple meeting with the Kazekage. It's not like he was conversing with someone from a different village or anyone else that seemed suspicious.

Still though, he did feel a hint of jealousy towards the Kazekage, Primarily due to the fact he overpassed him in regards to being chosen to lead the village, which was something that left a slightly bitter taste in his mouth, knowing he was only second place. He wouldn't let such thoughts and feelings blossom to the point where they affected his attitude and thoughts in an unprofessional manner for the time being, as he knew all too well that infighting only leads to weakness, and weakness during these times is an unacceptable notion.

He heard the Kazekage yelling from within his office as Yuudai neared in, and, with haste, he would drop the reports and run to the doors, where he forced them open and entered. "Lord Kage, what's the matter?" He inquired as he scanned the room, only to realized that there isn't anyone else in the room other than Munakata himself, causing the previously concerned face of Yuudai to turn into an unimpressed look.

Munakata continued to stare up at the ceiling, arms still raised, until the door to his office swung open. Hearing this, his head shot forward, looking at the door as his arms remained up. It was Black Ops Captain Yuudai Suzuki, a no nonsense man from what Munakata has managed to gather from him during their past meets. For a few seconds, just a mere few, he saw the rare look of concern upon the man's face before it turned back into its usual stoicness. With a sigh, Munakata brought the chair back down and put his hands on the desk, making a small "splat" sound due to the spilled tea. "Nothing Captain...its nothing...what did you need me for?" Munakata said a with a bit of sorrow, picking up the wet mound of paper and dropping it into the mini-trashcan next to his desk. "You did have a reason for coming up here...right?" He asked, a coy smile on his face, willing to see how the expressionless shinobi responds.

Yuudai begun to relax as he exerted a sigh. Dammit, he had dropped the reports when he rushed to the office. He knew that they were overall uneventful though, and most likely unimportant. Afterall, the Kazekage seemed to be one that wasn't exactly interested in paperwork anyways, at least that is how it looked Yuudai. "Nothing... important, sir. It was just some paperwork. It's gone now, however." He responded in a dismissive tone as he entered the room further. He glanced at the wet paperwork for a moment, using it as a way to assume that now the Kage himself no longer has any duties at the moment as well. "Lord Munakata, I do wish to see how good at combat you are, as a way of seeing the skills of a Kage compared to my own." A very, very slight expression of jealousy moved along his face for a moment as he waited for a response. He wished to see just how well Munkata can handle himself, and how much Yuudai will have to cover his lord should the situation arise in combat. He also wanted to see part of why the council chose this man as well, a way to see whether he was truly a correct choice or not.

A sigh, as expected. It was how all those emotionless types responded to be honest. At least, from what Munakata has seen that is. "Gone, you say?" Munakata asked with a small smile, cocking his head teasing at the ANBU Captain. "It must've not wanted to be wrote on." He said as he crossed his arms, enjoying this little game he was beginning to play with Yuudai. However, his smile quickly faded at the mention of the word "Lord", and paid attention to the lithe man, listening to what he had to say. He closely observed the ANBU as he spoke, noticing the small expression change on his face after he finished speaking. "Hmmmm....." Munakata mused, rubbing his chin, his red eyes locked onto Yuudai's. "I suppose." He said firmly as he stood, revealing he was wearing simple black pants and sleeveless tunic. "How about a race to warm us up first, eh?" Surely the ANBU would agree to this. What with him sitting in a chair all day, it'd be only fair. Besides....he never gets to run across the rooftops.

Yuudai offered a light smile as he held back a chuckle to the Kazekage's statement about the papers. He awaited the man's answer as they looked at one another, almost in a stare-off of sorts. However, the Kage finally stood up with an "I suppose" an acceptance of sorts to the Captain's request. His sleeveless tunic and black pants were all that's on him, which in turn prompted Yuudai to take off his ANBU breastplate, leaving the bracers, his right gauntlet, and his shinguards His longsleeved black underarmor, leather straps that covered the right chest area, and his black pants and boots on. These lightweight items shouldn't slow him down in the slightest when the two would begin their race. Yuudai wasn't one to have honor, though. "We meet at the Training Grounds." He said as he sped past the Kage, jumping through the window and outside, where he would fall towards the rooftops below.

Munakata took in the man's smile. It was quite a rare sight among those special operative types, especially the high-rank ones. He even got to hear a chuckle. 'Nice laugh...' Munakata thought, listening to it before it stopped. He then witnessed the ANBU strip right in-front of him. Well.....strip wasn't really the correct word in this context. Perhaps a more better word would be disarm...though that meant making someone incapable of fighting. Not that it mattered anyways. The man was still wearing everything else along with his bodysuit. Though it could be considered eye candy, Munakata didn't enough time to think about that, for Yuudai proceeded to run pass him and jump through his closed window, shattering it to numerous and uncountable pieces. "HEY!" The long-nosed man would yell as he quickly followed suite and jumped through his OTHER closed window, shattering that one. "Haven't you ever heard of winners first?!" Yelled Munakata as he straightened his form, now similar to a missile, and headed downward at a much faster pace.

He would land on his feet and instantly begin running off to the direction of the Training Grounds, getting ready to make the first of many jumps.

"What?!" Yuudai called back to the Kage's yelling. He soon landed shortly after Munakata did due to the larger male also weighing more, though as soon as he landed and performed a roll he would be right behind him. He and the Kage were racing down the streets, which wouldn't be good for the villagers around them at all, especially if they both end up bumping into the civilians around them. He would move to the right side of the street, where he would put his gauntlet to use, casting the claws out to dig into the corner of a building, where he would jump into the air, allowing the claws to retract and help propel him forwards, where he would land upon a rooftop nearby the Kazekage.

Now with no civilians in the way or anything of the sort, he would run across the rooftops, currently tied with the leader of the village. They were two competitive, opposing forces at this point, and as a result Yuudai viewed this race as more than a warmup, but a competition he needed to win. He wished to refrain from wasting his Chakra on Jutsu, however, as he would need it for the spar to come. Rooftop to rooftop he would run across and jump, keeping up with the man below.

And there it was. The first leap. The first bound, which was usually the most majestic and graceful, was not at all. Munakata just straight-up struggle jumped in attempt to not run-over a woman who was carrying her groceries. Nonetheless, he made it. He successfully avoided trampling a woman. Now all he has to avoid the rest of the village populace on this road. Fun times. Munakata kept jumping and moving left and right, avoiding people and carts. Even the occasional food stand. Nonetheless, he knew he had to get back on the rooftops if he wanted to have a easier time racing Yuudai. And thus when they approached the next food-stand, Munakata jumped. He landed on the top of the stand before jumping again, this time grabbing onto the ledge of a window of a building. He quickly climbed and hoisted himself up. With that, Munakata resumed running. Looking to left, he would Yuudai on the opposing rooftop, tied with him. The man was skilled, he'll give him that. "Hey, if I win, I get a kiss!!" Bellowed the speedy giant as he did another jump, adrenaline filling his veins as he sped up, taking the lead as he then jumped onto the rooftop in-front of Yuudai's, still running as he landed.

The reason why he requested such a thing was mainly to see how the man would react, especially at a time like this. Not that he wouldn't mind a kiss. He just wanted to see if the man would gawk at him or not. It'd be pretty funny if he did.

Though trained to not show emotion when certain things happen, especially when it comes to thinks such as threats and insults, Yuudai's face couldn't help but burn with embarrassment upon hearing the Kazekage's...."threat". A kiss? Really? Gulping at the thought and hoping that was his Lord's way of trying to catch him off guard, Yuudai began to clear his man before refocusing on the race. He was currently being left behind. Not tolerating the position he was in, the ANBU Captain became re-energized with his own adrenaline and went on speeding, slowly catching up with the Kage. "Only in your dreams!" He would responded to the taunt as he was once again at Munakata's side. They were now about two feet away from each other and were neck in neck, unable to fully surpass each other.

Munakata looked back upon hearing the sound of Yuudai's voice, only to gawk at the fact the ANBU Captain had just managed to pull himself up and equal him. "Pretty good...ya know that?!" Munakata would say as he heaved. He was beginning to get tired and...yet...he could see the Training Grounds up ahead. They were about four rooftops away from it. He couldn't lose now, not after all this. "In addition to the kiss....", He heaved as he began to go into overtime, "....I get to slap your ass." He grinned maniacally, knowing this would catch the ANBU's attention. Thus, Munakata went faster, using his legs to their fullest. One jump. Two. Three, oh, he was so close! Oh so very close! He could practically smell the sand! He couldn't lose now! Upon reaching the edge of the final building he would spring himself out with all his might. He had no form, and would have to take the brunt of falling to the sand. And yet...he did it. Once close enough, Munakata brought his arms up to his face to defend it as he hit the ground. Using his momentum he transformed it from hitting the ground to doing a quick roll, getting rid of his speed and softening the blow.

Slowly, he stood, panting as he did. "I..win.." Munakata heaved as he bent over, hands on knees, as he tried to regain his breath.

Yuudai ignored the leader's compliment about his capability to keep up with him, preferring to focus purely on the finish. He was beginning to get tired as well, though the Training Grounds were just ahead. Munakata continued to speak, though Yuudai was in the zone at the moment, at least that is, until he really thought about the futility of this entire warmup. He was treating it as an actual battle, a legitimate competition of sorts while the Kazekage himself just wished to enjoy himself. Perhaps Yuudai was taking things a little too seriously, especially since at that moment, he was preparing to use his Wild Lions Mane Jutsu to help propel him forwards. Instead of using the Jutsu like he was going to on impulse Yuudai instead chose to slow down slightly, allowing Munakata to take the lead and make it to the Training Grounds via falling into the sand in what can only be described as a blunder of a landing.

Yuudai himself landed shortly afterwards, where he would walk up to the Kazekage while beginning to take control of his breathing so he wouldn't end up panting like a dog as well. "I guess you did win.." Yuudai said in a dismissive tone as he kept his look away from Munakata. As he would be trying to regain his breath, Yuudai would lean over and deliver a peck on the cheek of the Kazekage quickly before returning to his original, professional demeanor. "I assume we'll begin sparring as soon as you catch your breath, Lord Kazekage?" He inquired.

Munakata heard the soft sound of sandals meeting sand, noting that Yuudai has joined him on the training ground. He did it. He managed to beat the ANBU Captain. Misplaced pride filled his form as he couldn't help but smile as he wheezed. The simple reward of winning was enough to make him feel nice. That...and a kiss from Yuudai. The Kazekage visibly tensed at the kiss, not excepting it in the least. He was simply teasing the man. He didn't actually expect him to kiss him. And yet....it felt rather nice. Slowly, he raised his hand and placed it on the cheek that was kissed before standing straight. Blushing ever so lightly and having regained his breathe, Munakata suddenly moved straight in and kissed Yuudai's cheek as well. Yup, he likes kissing and getting kissed by Yuudai. Munakata, clearing his head and refocusing at the task at hand, straightened his stature and resumed his usually attitude. "Yes, let us move to the middle."

The Training Grounds was a very large place. Trees dotted areas near the fences while the actual inside of the Training Grounds was flat, solid land. Some grass was here and there, and there were training tools sectioned off to certain areas, but the main area was where all the action usually was. Slowly, Munakata made his way to the center of the area. "No weapons. No serious injuries. Understand?" He said in a stern voice. After all, he didn't want his ANBU Captain out of commission. "And if I win...I get a kiss on the lips!"

Munakata suddenly moved in and took Yuudai by surprise via kissing him as well, making the Captain blush lightly as he pushed Muna away. He would traverse to the middle of the field, making an attempt to keep his mind off of what just happened, and more importantly, what it felt like. Relationships in the Shinobi world are high risk, especially in positions such as theirs, as the death or injury or one of them could in turn affect the other, making them less efficient, and Yuudai for the moment can not allow that. The Training Grounds is a very large place, really. The few trees that can survive in the desert were dotting areas near the fences while the inside was a solid flatland, which is nice mostly, though it can really affect the capabilities of the Sunagakure Shinobi in other lands, more specifically how they handle the change of terrain from a desert/flatland to forested, swampy, or even high altitude locations. Sunagakure most definitely somewhat has the worst kind of Training Grounds in terms of terrain out of all of the other villages.

They both slowly made it to the center of the grounds, where Muna began rattling off the rules of the spar, which made Yuudai in response take off his gauntlet, tossing it to the side. He then began rattling off about what he gets if he wins, though Yuudai didn't wish to listen. Instead, he would interrupt the Kage by activating the Snake Seal, following it with a simple activation seal as well, performing both the Shadow Clone and the Wild Lion's Mane Techniques at the same time. Of course, as his hair begun to grow outwards, his Shadow Clone appeared in the same pose a meter away, performing the same type of Jutsu as well, causing two masses of hair appear in the shape of a lion, both of which would fly towards the Kazekage, a signal that the fight has begun.

Munakata's eyes narrowed as Yuudai did the Kage Bunshin and Ranjishigami within succession, with his clone following suite with his own Ranjishigami. Quite skillful, to say the least. And now he had two hair monsters coming right for him...and fast. However, Munakata wasn't be put on the spot like this so quickly. Acting fast the Kazekage suddenly clapped his hands together, creating a strong gale of wind. If he were successful in doing the jutsu, the wind would be strong enough to make Yuudai and his clone call, stopping their hair combo attack. After doing this, Munakata would do a technique of his own. Focusing Doton chakra under his arms and on his shoulder-blades as well as refining it, Munakata would then create four extra arms. Two above his real pair and two below them. Each one was the same length as his real ones and were moving as if they were a natural part of his body. With that done, he would then proceed to charge at Yuudai and his clone. All four of his earthen fists were ready to defend if need be while his real ones were together, just itching to form a hand seal in-case this didn't work out.

Yuudai would release his Wild Lions Mane Technique right as soon as he saw the Kazekage clapping his hands together. Yuudai would, in response, move behind his shadow clone, allowing the clone himself to take the full brunt of the damage, leaving Yuudai himself to only be winged by the technique. He would help support his clone from behind, preventing him from being knocked back, though his own Technique would be extinguished as well. The two would nod in unison as they immediately would understand what their next move would be. They both have seen the Kazekage create four more arms out of rock, refining them for combat. All four, despite their organic differences from the Kazekage's body, would be moving around as if they're a natural part of his body. He then proceeded to charge at both Yuudai and the Shadow Clone, whom of which would most likely take the full brunt of the attack right away if they didn't do something about it.

Yuudai wasn't hopeless in this situation despite the short amount of time given for him to react due to the short distance they and the Kazekage have from one another, he also knew the Doton techniques were weak against Raiton, and that his clone had his own Chakra reserves as well, which would be very useful for a situation just like this. Yuudai's Clone himself knelt downwards, pointing his middle and index fingers towards the charging village leader, activating the Temporary Paralysis Jutsu as a means to attempt to restrain him, creating an opening while the original, Yuudai, was already concentrating electricity into his right hand, where, as the Kazekage was upon them, he would lunge himself at the arm made of earth on Munakata's lower right side for an attempt to destroy it.

The Shadow Clone himself would jump to the Kazekage's left side, performing a quick roll in order to get into a kneeling position, where his hands would be clasped together, forming a Tiger sign. If he made it through the arm completely, Yuudai would release the technique, where he would then slow to a halt behind the Kazekage around ten or so feet away, breathing out of light exhaustion from using up his Chakra so quickly in order to get an effective enough hit in. He knew this wasn't a fight to the death nor even a legitimate battle, and that is precisely why he went for the arm made of earth rather than the Kage's real arm or body, as it wasn't his desire to risk hurting Munakata badly by accident.

Munakata, focused on getting to Yuudai, was quite surprised when he suddenly felt bound by some force. Seeing the hand seal, however, he couldn't help but chuckle quietly to himself. "Kanashibari no Jutsu.." He thought. Seems Yuudai was prepared after all. Though amused, his smile quickly went away as a chidori equipped Yuudai suddenly zipped past him. He hadn't even noticed the man preparing the technique, having been focusing on his current position. The chidori ripped straight through his upper right arm, destroying it completely. Even then, Munakata hadn't the time to focus on that for the other Yuudai had just rolled to his left holding the Tiger Hand Seal. And then........the bindings that stopped him...were gone. The Temporary Paralysis was lifted. Knowing he would have to get out of this type spot, however, Munakata didn't focus on that for too long. Deciding to go about a different tactic, Munakata ceased his Kishin-Ryū: Asura before suddenly turning to the Yuudai on his left. Holding up a Tiger Seal of his own, he opened his mouth and let out a very large stream of fire upon the clone at near point blank range. After doing this he would suddenly jump back from the Yuudai, placing a good 8 feet between them as the other one was possibly 14 feet from Munakata due to him moving. Thus, he stood, awaiting for their next move.

Yuudai observed as Munakata released his four armed technique, reverting back once more to two arms and losing a great system of defense. Should he have kept it and attacked Yuudai as he was catching his breath Yuudai wouldn't have the currently apparent edge. He wondered what the Kage's plans were as he released the Jutsu, or if he just did it in order to conserve Chakra. Ether way his Clone, whom of which already performed the Tiger seal, would breath a large fireball outwards towards Munakata, whom of which released a large stream of fire of his own. Both fireballs would collide into one another, negating the effects of the both of them, and jumping back away from the clone and the original, he would stand fourteen feet away from the original and eight from the clone.

After doing this he would suddenly jump back from the Yuudai, placing a good 8 feet between them as the other one was possibly fourteen feet from Munakata due to him moving. Thus, he stood, awaiting for their next move. Yuudai didn't wish to let up from his assault though and knew he had to keep the Kazekage on the defense. Quickly he and the Clone would close in, the Clone reaching a distance of three feet away, easy arms reach for the both of them, where the clone would have a small trail of wind coming from behind his right hand the entire time. Almost right away, the clone would clap his hands together at the close range, creating a gale that stretches across a twenty five foot radius.

Yuudai, whom of which was around five feet away from both the Clone and Munakata at this point, would quickly rip off the cloth that covered his black leggings shortly after performing the Tiger, Boar, Ox, Dog, and Snake Hand Seals, causing a small cloud of smoke to appear in his place, where he would now be gone and the cloth would be in his stead, getting blown away by the gale while the real Yuudai was four feet above both the clone and the Kazekage, his foot aimed towards the top of the village leader's back in an attempted kick straight downwards.

Munakata knew he had to wait for a opening. Fighting two opponents at the same time was no laughing matter, even if one of them was a clone. Though he had jutsu which would allow him to easily gain the upper-hand, they were quickly consuming in usage and quite dangerous when preformed. He didn't want to win THAT badly. So instead, he figured he'd remain on the defensive and wait for a weakness. That being said, the ANBU Captain was already upon him. The one closest to him quickly ran and with a simple clap of his hands produced a strong gale. Being so close to it, Munakata didn't even have enough time to defend as the jutsu landed, knocking him over. Despite this, he DID manage to do was see the puff of smoke and the other Yuudai emerging from it, attempting to drop kick him. Given his current position, the attack would land on his chest.

Thus he quickly brought his arms up when he was close enough. If successful, he would quickly grab onto Yuudai's ankle and twist his body to the left, yanking him from the air and bringing him to the ground. He would then straddle him, holding both of his wrists over his head with one hand before turning to the other clone and making a hand seal. "Kanashibari no Jutsu!" He would yell. If successful, the same bounds used on Munakata would now hold onto the Yuudai who did the Wind Gale, restraining him.

Yuudai would continue his descent upon the larger male, his foot read to dig into and hopefully stun his opponent as he was knocked down. The Kazekage however wasn't going without a fight, as he quickly reached upwards, grabbing a hold onto Yuudai's ankle, where his body would be quickly twisted to the left. He felt the force of the Kage force him from the air, bringing him to the ground, where Yuudai would quickly be straddled, both of his wrists trapped over his head while Munakata would turn to Yuudai's clone, paralyzing it.

Yuudai would look around, seeing his gauntlet in the distance, he considered cheating a little and using his chakra strings to take it and bring it to him, though, also knowing this is just a spar, he knew that such a move would be too out of order for him, as they were both only doing this for training, and not for legitimate battle. He then looked over to the training weapons nearby as well, wondering if they would be acceptable to use, though he figured that they would be too far away, and thus unreachable. Instead of reacting in an attempt to continue this fight, Yuudai simply laughed lightly, allowing his clone to be released from existence. "All right, all right, you win, Lord Kazekage. At this rate my Chakra reserves would have run out before I could overtake you and win, anyways. It was a good battle, and a good spar." He would say, giving praise to the long-nosed male as he laid there, breathing rather heavily from wasting close to half of his Chakra reserves in quick succession.

"I'd think it would be a nice gesture if you can let me get up." Yuudai stated once more, taking note of the Kage's straddling him and keeping him on the ground. He rather enjoyed the fight, even though he enjoys standing upwards a lot more. Yuudai himself felt that, even if weapons were allowed, perhaps things would go more differently, as he had a few different openings to where he could deliver a lethal blow or two, though had to change to non-lethal means instead. Perhaps he should have gotten a puppet once more, as he recalled his last one had been destroyed little over a month ago, and he certainly felt weaker without it.

Fight ended~

Munakata, looking back the pinned ANBU Captain, smiled his usual smile. It seems he managed to come out on top after all....literally. Though it did take a good amount of effort to manage to get this far, as well as the fact both and Yuudai are unable of going their fullest. Plus there was also the fact that neither could use weapons. Perhaps if they did, thinks could've gone a bit more different, for better or for worse. Although.....Munakata knew he held the the greater advantage in-terms of strength and stamina. However....he rarely ever fought. He couldn't even remember the last time he trained since he came into office. Nonetheless, Munakata was broken out of his thoughts as the ANBU Captain began to speak, listening to praise he was granting him before asking if he could move. Munakata nodded, and began to remove himself from Yuudai...only to deliver a swift kiss to his nose. "My reward for winning."

He said in his usual tone, smiling a toothy smile as he now stood up. He dusted himself off, getting the dirt off his tunic and pants before placing his hands on his hips. The sunlight was beginning to bare down harder than usual, and Munakata was not willing to withstand such a solar assault at the moment. Taking a few steps forward, head down in contemplation, he would speak as he watched Yuudai from the corner of his eye, making sure he wasn't trying to surprise attack him or anything. "Wanna race back to the office. I'll buy us some tea later if you win." He offered as he approached Yuudai,a hint of competitiveness. Before there could be any response, however, Munakata would suddenly sprint off to the nearest building and jump upward. He would climb up to the roof before turning around to Yuudai, waving. "The free tea is mine!" He would yell as he began what had ended several minutes ago, about to make his first jump to the next roof top. May the best man win indeed.

Race Begins~

Yuudai would begin to wriggle out from under the Kazekage when the leader leaned over, his long, fleshy nose nearly hitting Yuudai in the eye, only for it to be nearly avoided as he delivered a fast, subtle peck upon Yuudai's own, fair-skinned nose. Yuudai's fair skin would turn a light red around his cheek area before returning to the normal color it was before. He would try to ignore the silly, toothy smile Munakata sent towards him, as he didn't wish to see how silly such a grin would look and have it stuck in the back of his mind as they returned. Though for all of the lack of emotion he generally gives the Kazekage, he will mentally admit a sort of attraction to him, which even mentally is rather shameful of a thought, as not only is it unprofessional, but it also implies he has an attraction of sorts to males, and as the leader of his Clan he has to have an heir, though perhaps that problem can be settled by allowing one of his fellow members to become the heir in the situation where Yuudai himself has been eliminated. Yes, perhaps after the impeding Kage Summit, Yuudai will appoint a new heir for the moment and have a go at a dinner or two with Munakata, should the Kazekage be up for it. His Clan is of highest importance to him, so he could spare to be a little unprofessional if he knows it is in capable enough hands should he pass.

He would get up from the ground as well, dusting off his own clothing, his fingers brushing through the tougher spots of his leather straps and sash, rubbing the dirt off of the wrinkles of his dark pants. He would remove his sandals, the left one first, and empty it of the dirt and occasional pebble or two within it, before putting it back on. He would do the same for his right sandal; remove it, shake it lightly in order to get the pebbles and dirt out of it, brush it off, and put it back on. He would then walk over to his nearby waist cloth, each step slowed as he was trying to recover his energy, primarily his lost Chakra. He continued reflecting back upon the battle he fought against the Kazekage, considering what kind of Puppet he should develop, and whether it should be designed for close combat, ranged combat, or perhaps larger opponents in general. He also pondered as to the name he should call it, further reflecting to his past, and how one of his rival Clansman back during the days where his Clan was divided was a silver-haired female that murdered her husband in an attempt to convert his body into a puppet. He remembers how, when he and his group reached her, she was covered in his blood, muttering her plans over and over regarding how she can convert the man's body to a puppet, and how it will be incredibly useful to her in taking over the Clan if she produced this new way of creating puppets.

"Widow.. Silver Widow... That's a good name..." Yuudai silently muttered to himself as he reattached the tan colored cloth to his waist, where it would lightly cover the majority of his legs once more, helping protect them from dirt or sand floating about. At this point, he would have fully regained his breath, being more energetic than before, though not quite as energetic as before the battle due to his loss of Chakra still affecting him. He would return to the Kazekage after moving towards his gauntlet, where he would grab it by the forearm with his left hand, dusting it off with his right, making sure that it is clean enough that no dust will affect the inner mechanics of the weapon before sliding it over his right bracer, which he modified for it to be able to fit underneath the gauntlet. His fingers now covered by the threatening claws of the weapon, Yuudai felt as though he returned his right arm back to his body once more, his close attraction to the darkened metal being one that lasted ever since he made it. It was, of course, his weapon of choice ever since he became a Jounin, and in a way, it was a companion on its own.

He heard Munakata request a race with Yuudai once more, making Yuudai sigh lightly. "Fine.." he said in a false means of disdain as secretly he thought about how, this time, he will win. The idea of having a free refreshment after this exercise was rather nice, and it also gave Yuudai a chance to spend some more off-time with the Kazekage, as well. Suddenly, both males were off, sprinting to the nearest building, where both would quickly climb up. Yuudai ignored the light exhaustion he had from wasting his Chakra like he had, instead deciding to push his body further and further, knowing that, as the Captain of the ANBU in Sungakure, he can take far more punishment than a simple spar without weapons and two races. He also didn't wish to admit to his pockets being empty, as the Kage didn't administer any missions lately, and Yuudai is quite terrible at saving money. Having climbed to the roof, both skilled Shinobi would be neck and neck, their muscles pumping into motion as they increased in speed across the rooftops. He would hear Munakata mention the free tea being his, but he didn't factor in one thing, and that would be that Yuudai now wanted the tea completely, and he was never one to share the things he wanted. He jumped to the next rooftop, his feet landing hard onto the hardened surface as he continued his pace, not wishing to lose this time no matter what. He was quite determined, indeed.

It seems that ANBU Captain was expecting such acts from Munakata, as he instantly began running when Munakata did. "Clever man.." His thoughts said as he continued to run and jump as well. Indeed, even after training Yuudai was still filled with enough energy so that he could continue competing. Although, in a certain sense, Munakata expected no less than this from his ANBU Captain. The man was one of the main leaders of the ANBU Blacks Ops, which were the elites OF the elites. Munakata would not tolerate some weak-willed soul to do this job. Nonetheless, that didn't mean Munakata was gonna lose in this race. Oh no he was not. Excitement was running through his body like a lightning bolt as his adrenaline began pumping once again. The desert breeze was blowing against his brown face and passing through his orange hair. The smoldering sun was at its brightest and hottest. Even the rooftops of the buildings were rather hot as well, having been made from stone and sand rather than proper building materials. Munakata felt...alive. It was so rare that he could just go and be active, mainly because of his position as Nidaime Kazekage, which consisted of mostly paperwork, pens, pencils, paperclips, plain sheets of paper, essays, reports, more paperwork, and such. He hardly ever got to go on missions anymore unless it was very serious (which is almost never). And yet here he was now, racing an ANBU Captain, with the loser having to buy the winner some tea. A pretty nice turn of events in Munakata's eyes.

Speaking of which, Yuudai didn't like he was gonna let up anytime soon. From what Munakata has observed, Yuudai disliked losing and will try his very hardest to succeed, even if its something as trivial as a race. It was admirable in a way, though did not deter Munakata in the least as he went ahead and did another leap. He was not going to lose here. Not now.

Yuudai would continue sprinting along the rooftops alongside the Kazekage, not risking a misstep or any opportunity to slow down. In order to get ahead he would try adding more force to his right leg when he brings it down so, instead of remaining at a stagnant pace, he would be aided by his right leg in effectively keeping a pace that would slowly, and very slowly, increase in speed. He didn't really have time to waste, though this time he had a plan in order to get far ahead and possibly win, though he can not fully execute it this early, as it would be tough for him to return to speed right away. No, instead he will continue retracing steps, switching positions so he wouldn't have to do so later, and subtly changing very minor details about his form in the effort to find the most efficient way to out-class Munakata in this competition.

He must say he was quite enjoying himself, even though his outward expression was one of focus and determination, his emotions he kept within were that of someone highly enjoying themselves. The joy of performing activity that actually isn't dull, the warm feeling within when one is with another that they are beginning to like, and cold breeze slamming against one's body, the cooler feeling temperatures of the wind being contradicted and corrected by the hot sun above, creating a perfect mix of feelings between hot and cold. These warm feelings strongly change his perception of things at he moment in regards to how, after this is over, once more he will be an emotionless weapon for the village, willing to eliminate any target in order to best keep the peace and safety of Sunagakure and the people within it. It was quite depressing, really, though inevitable.

His footsteps would hit the ground with a tap tap tap, the sand and stone underneath providing a more slightly uneven yet cushioned surface for his feet as he ran across buildings and jumped across alleys. He could see the Kazekage's office in sight just ahead, standing out from the rest of the buildings in size. It was about time he activated what should allow him to win.

It would have seemed that the two ninja had taken the long way back to the office. Either that or Munakata was more tired than he thought. Sweat was beading down his face as his body was glistening with it, creating a shine in the intense sunlight. He was huffing and puffing strong enough to blow even his own house down. The heat was beginning to rise as well. Though he was now stifling in his speed or form, Munakata was definitely feeling the effects of the environment. He knew he should've kept on training despite the paperwork. Still, Munakata was enjoying himself a lot at the moment. He almost felt like a kid again. Almost. Nonetheless, he was beginning to see the Kazekage building in the distance. They were starting to get closer and closer to their end point. Seeing this, the Kazekage knew he couldn't let the ANBU Captain win. He wanted some free tea dammit and by god he will get it!

Thus, without much warning, he would suddenly shove Yuudai away from him. If successful, there was a high chance of making Yuudai lose some of his speed and trip onto the hard stone rooftop they were running on. Thus, Munakata would begin to speed up, using his legs to their very fullest. It almost seemed immature, on both their parts,for trying so hard in this race. After all, it was just simple tea. However, it was more than that to them (or at the very least, Munakata). It meant that they won. That they managed to best the other. That they were superior....for the day at the very least. That is why it meant so much to them. They were both trained ninja after all, rather powerful ones at that. One the field of battle, it meant life or death. Not just for them either, but also for their allies. Their friends, families, their friends' families. Essentially the entire hidden village in a way.

Even though it was just racing, it meant so much upon so many levels. They were not about to give up now, especially Munakata. Racing forward he would do a mighty jump, concentrating chakra to his feet as he did to work as a adhesive before he resumed his sprint up the Kazekage building, trying to get to one of the two broken windows. He was so close...
