| They were on their way.
It took a hefty amount of time while they were on their travel from Sunagakure to The land of iron, but what else could Kaito expect? They were riding in a carriage surrounded by other guards on camels, it was bound to take at least a few hours. his anticipation of the event was more than enough to make his perception of time speed up, and as the hours passed and the day fell, he simply awaited their arrival. He did find a few ways to occupy the time. Talking to both Yuudai and the Kazekage about himself, and his history. He spoke a little of his father who'd recently passed, and how he was given the Nine tails. He also spoke about the jutsu that he'd currently been trained in, and what his goals were overall. It felt strange to be able to share that information with the person who he was aspiring to be noticed by, in fact, it was somewhat euphoric. Of course, the feeling couldn't last forever, and was cut short by a mere wheel falling out of place. Night had fallen, their travels had taken all day, and just as they were getting relatively close to their destination, Kaito heard the carriage that the three had been residing in begin to shake and stutter, and then finally come to an abrupt halt. he wasn't sure of why, but he decided that it was his duty to find out of his two companions. He got out of the carriage on the left hand side, and then walked forward towards the seat of the driver.
"Why did we stop? What seems to be the problem?"
"From the sound of it, a wheel came off the track. Sorry about that sir, it may take a while to fix."
Kaito sighed, and then looked down towards the wheel to confirm whether or not the drivers suspicions were true. They were. Well, that was just great. He had been so eager to arrive in the Land of Iron, allowed himself to get his hopes up that high. Now he'd have to wait even longer than he'd originally expected himself to. He sighed, and then went back towards the passenger part of the carriage to go make his companions aware of the news.
"One of the wheels popped off of it's track, driver is fixing it should take a while."
Now what was there left for him to do? Nothing really. He had to think of something that would occupy his time, something beneficial as well. Training? He could of course, but he didn't know in what specifically. He'd had an exception jutsu arsenal, a little above average strength and speed. Only one thing came to mind. The one thing that he'd had the most trouble controlling for the half of his life he'd been in it's possession. The nine tails. He found it extremely difficult, not only keeping the spirit at bay, but utilizing it's power when he'd needed it most. They were going to the Kage summit, and while he was intrigued to find out more about those of the other villages, he also knew that he'd have to be prepared to defend against them as well. He stared both at Yuudai, and the Kazekage, and spoke.
"In the meantime, i think i will go a ways off the trail, at least until we are ready to move again."
He began to move throughout the immense piles of snow that had covered the outskirts of the land of snow. It was snowing lightly, but he could bear the cold. His mind wasn't even on the low temperature, rather on how he'd draw out the Bijuu laying dormant within him. After walking for a few minutes, he figured himself to be far away enough from his traveling group to make another attempt at it. he sat down in the cold, damp snow, folding both of his legs, and closing his eyes. he made sure to keep his body completely still, and then started to focus towards the chakra laying dormant within him. Not necessarily on his own, but on that of the nine tails. he'd struggled repeatedly throughout the majority of his life when attempting to use the nine tail's chakra at will, and even at the level of jounin seemed as though he wasn't capable of doing it. There wasn't any more time left for him to wait to figure it out, and thus he didn't have many options. The one and the only thing that he knew he had to do at that moment was find a way to draw the power out of himself. He focused for a few moments, directly down within himself on the seal that had been placed upon his stomach. He visualized a small flame, lit directly in his minds point of view that was getting slightly larger every time that he managed to focus more of himself towards it.
'Kurama. I don't know if you can hear me, but i need this to work. Share your chakra with me.'
Kaito's inner thoughts seemed to not have any relevance for a few moments. him not feeling any different than he had before. Despite this, he strengthened his focus, keeping his minds eye set directly on that fire he saw. Eventually it begun to grow, getting larger and closer to his direction. He smiled as it got larger, and then could feel the change initiating. The chakra from the Nine tails slowly started to formulate around Kaito in an orange, bubbly cloak around his body. As he felt the change begin, he started to feel the grip of his control of his body fall away, as kurama's power overflowed into him. The chakra kept flowing, and then exerting itself around him. He could feel it. He liked it. He abruptly opened his eyes, stopping the flow of the chakra around him, and sending it back into the tailed beast sealed within him. He gasped for a few deep breaths. It was working, but at a cost. He'd have to learn how to keep a grip on the beast if he wanted to control it's full strength, that was for sure. Tailed beast initial form 1000/1000 Learned

| "Great, just what we need." Yuudai began to say as he stepped out into the snowy landscape from the carriage, his blue eyes peering from his bronze mask as he looked around. He knew for a fact that they were in the Land of Iron, the land of Samurai, a group that isn't particularly into hosting Shinobi. Yuudai himself was never too fond of Samurai himself. Their entire code of honor seemed too odd to him, not to mention the rumored method of suicide some would use also seems utterly insane, like the work of Jashinnites when they would do something insane in the name of their god, though these people would do it in the name of far less, even. "We should have just traveled here on foot, Lord Kazekage. At least then we wouldn't have to deal with wheels breaking off." Yuudai would say to Munakata, showing his dislike for their situation. He didn't wish for any delays to occur while they were on their way to the meeting, though now they have a wheel off and they're missing Kaito, as the younger male decided to go off trail, which in Yuudai's hopeful mind meant he most likely went off to scout or something of the sort. He believed that the Samurai would have no interest in a tailed beast anyways, so no one should be after him that Yuudai and Munakata couldn't handle. "Oh well, I assume this just gives me the chance to further prepare.." Yuudai said as he would grab a long, white wrap from out of the caravan itself. He would lay Silver Widow down, proceeding to place her in a standing position, her arms crossed and her legs bent, where he would proceed to wrap her up completely until a small part of her silver hair was sticking outwards. He would then pick the hand-made case up, holding the hanging piece of the wrapping over one shoulder as he returned to the caravan, sitting across from Munakata once more, ready to leave when Kaito returns. As he sat there, Yuudai would clasp his hands together, where, a puff of smoke would appear from under his mask and cloak and the white wrappings for a moment, before it would settle and nothing would seemingly change. "Don't mind me, I'll remain here if you would like to leave and perhaps do something before the wheel is fixed, as well." Yuudai would continue, his cloaked arm lifting up to wave off his crush as he continued sitting there, not even moving a bit while the bandaged case would remain on the seat to his left, leaning against the wall. ~Used Transformation Technique | |

| The trip, though the first of such distance for Munakata, wasn't a very long one. It was certainly a rather quiet one however. They tranversed through several lands to get to the Land of Iron and, thus, took a few days. Throughout that time Munakata conversed with Kaito, learning who he was and such while also holding off on teasing the ANBU Captain. Though even that grew tiresome after awhile and, thus, Munakata has currently been siting silence with his eyes closed. Thinking. However his thoughts were interrupted as the carriage suddenly stopped. Perking his ears up, he heard Kaito leave for a moment before returning. Informing the both of them that they have to fix the wheel and that he's going off the trial. Possibly to train or look for nuts or something. And with that Yuudai began to speak, not at all pleased with their current situation. To the point that the ANBU Captain believed that going on foot was a better idea than to take the carriage. Munakata did not respond however. Rather...he simply opened his eyes and looked out.
There were hardly any clouds within the night sky, allowing the full-moon to illuminate the white, soft lands of Iron. Minor snow was falling ever so peacefully from the sky, piling onto the ground around the trail. Munakata slowly outstretched his hand, feeling the soft white puffs land on his hand before melting. He then looked further, seeing the trail of footsteps left by Kaito. Munakata how no doubt that they would be gone within a couple of minutes. Listening to Yuudai speak once more, Munakata would suddenly respond. "Yuudai....have you ever seen snow?" It was a valid question, considering they lived in the desert. For Munakata this was his very first time seeing the substance, let alone feeling it. He had heard what it felt and looked like...but to actually have it in front of you...was a different experience. The same goes to for the temperature of the Land of Iron. Due to its snowy nature it was normally quite cold. Yuudai himself was wearing a cloak and the riders even brought blankets so they could wrap themselves in them for warmth. Munakata, however, wore his normal sleeveless tunic and black pants. He was currently using his fire chakra to keep himself warm.

| He took a few minutes to catch his breath after slightly losing control of himself? why was that? What was happening? was it the influence of kurama reacting to him attempting to forcefully remove it's chakra and use it as his own? He wasn't sure, but that seemed to be the most probable explanation. But why? He was worrying about the answers, but they weren't his priority. The first and foremost thing for him to worry about was finding a way to control the chakra of the nine tails laying dormant within him. He had to keep trying. He had to succeed. He wasn't entirely sure what he'd felt the first time he tried, but he knew it was powerful. He had to do that again, but keep in control of himself this time. He took another deep breath, focusing himself again, and remaining stationary. He once again pictured that small light, watching it enlarge as he focused his attention to the seal on his stomach of which the nine tails was placed in. As he focused more and more, he felt the chakra from the seal slowly seep through, entering in a cloak of sorts around his body as it had done so before. The light he'd been envisioning was getting larger, brighter, burning deeper into his minds eye. It was working. Then, seemingly out of nowhere. It stopped. Everything went black.
There was no warning, there wasn't anything. Just blackness. Kaito hadn't a single clue of what happened, or what he was seeing, but something had definitely been going down. Outside of his own perception of his body, it was. The cloak had started to grow around him once more, this time forming itself strictly out of orange bubbles. A single tail grew from the bubbles in the aura around him, and he slowly stood up. He'd lost control. He'd been trying to garnish so much of Kurama's power so forcefully, the beast managed to take control of his body himself. Kaito's body slowly stood up, hunched over. His eyes were and orange like red, with sharp, linear pupils. He'd grown claws and fangs, and the aura around him took the appearance of a fox around him. He then got down on all fours, and Made an extremely loud roar that echoed off in all directions around him. Kaito was no longer in control, that was for sure.

| Without waiting for a answer from the ANBU Captain, Munakata began to exit the carriage. Placing his feet in the snow, he crossed his arms and looked about the area. The merchants were at work on the wheel, the exchanging of tools and materials being openly seen and done. It would probably only take a few more minutes or so to fix the wheel. Looking back to the front, Munakata stared at the footprints within the snow. Kaito had most likely gone to get some last minute training before the meeting. Wasn't a bad idea to say the least. After all, the Kage will be bringing their strongest with them in-case something went down. Speaking of something going down, a loud roar suddenly radiated across the area around them...and it sounded like Kaito. And it was near. Munakata instantly ran off, following the footprints within the snow until he reached a clearing. Within the center was Kaito Mikami. Wielder of the Nine Tailed Fox. Shrouded within bubbly chakra and having a tail. "No..." The Kazekage gawked. He knew what this was and he needed to act. Fast. Sadly, he knew no sealing jutsu. Thus, after a quick tossing of ideas, he rested on knocking the sense back into Kaito.
Getting into a stance, he closed the distance between him and Kaito. The two were about eight feet away from one another. "Kaito." He began to speak, his voice stern and serious. "If you can hear me, calm yourself. Repress the demon's influence." Munakata was ready for anything that man had to throw at him and, thus, remained in his stance, waiting.

| "If you can hear me, calm yourself. Repress the demon's influence."
The nine tails would slowly turn around upon hearing the kage's voice, analyzing him up and down, it's hostility and fear being shown upon it's face. There was about eight feet between the two currently, but that wouldn't be for long. The nine tails slowly got back onto the ground at all fours, The cloak around Kaito's body moving along with him. It's tail was up in the air, and he was preparing to pounce on the Kazekage and if he could, make a personal example out of him.
It was still dark all around for Kaito. He wasn't sure of what had happened, nor where he was, but he was still somewhat conscious. Was this his mind? There was nowhere for him to move, but he was still conscious. It was an extremely bizarre state of being that he wasn't necessarily used to, but he'd have to figure it out before the beast within him had done something he'd regret.
Back on the outside, Kurama was still in control of Kaito's body. He was still down on all fours, facing in the direction of Munakata. He hadn't known of his position as a kage, and probably wouldn't care even if he did. He gritted his teeth at him, making his fangs clear to be shown as he stared at him. In one singular burst he'd charge forward towards Munakata, at full speed, showing no hesitance in his movement. After clearing the eight feet distance between the two, he'd aim a singular strike with the claws on his right hand directly at Munakata's forehead, attempting to scratch through and leave his mark on the man.

| "No, and that's what makes me unsettled about this place.." Yuudai would say to himself as the Kazekage had already left, admitting to himself his disdain for being at an unfamiliar location, virtually blind to the terrain and any sort of strategical points where he could possibly have an advantage should they be attacked. He was one of those that believes the Kage were murdered on the way to the meeting, which made the fact that Munakata was alone worry Yuudai quite a bit, as he would much rather be around the Kazekage in order to ensure his safety. He couldn't deal with the idea of having allowed his leader to be in danger like this, especially for a selfish reason. Jumping out of the carriage, Yuudai would quickly discover the footprints that he assumed belonged to Munakata and Kaito, and as such he would quickly follow them, the bandaged case being held behind him as he would quickly sprint on ahead, following the footsteps until he would see quite the terrifying sight; the bubbling red Chakra surrounding Kaito, a tail protruding from it, his grip on the Nine Tails was seemingly loosening, and the Kazekage himself was only around eight feet away, as well. Right before Yuudai's eyes seemingly the beast that has taken over looked as though it was about to pounce, and then it did. It, with the speed of its host, charged towards the Kazekage, while Yuudai himself at full speed would charge at the beast. When it looked as though it was about to strike Munakata, Yuudai would be upon the beast, only five feet away himself, where he would turn around, the bandages unraveling only to revealing Yuudai himself, his middle and index finger surrounded by a coating of wind Chakra, which he would immediately send out towards the Tailed Beast, the attack traveling at the same speed he travels, threatening to collide with it from the right side of the creature, while Yuudai himself would stand in the snow for a moment before casting the Tiger, Boar, Ox, Dog, and Snake hand-signs in unison. wc 355 - Spoiler:

| Munakata, being much faster and far more skilled than the jonin in-front of him, quickly jumped back as the claw was raised against him. However, he did notice Yuudai as he suddenly arrived and began his assault upon the possessed Kaito. After getting back on his feet, he would quickly charge to Yuudai and grab one of his hands in a attempt to stop the formation of a jutsu. "Subdue him. Not kill or lethally wound. Subdude." Munakata would say in a firm tone, his eyes never leaving Kaito as he speak. He would then stand straight besides Yuudai, cracking his knuckles. "It's safer if we use our hands." He would say simply, getting into a fighting stance.

| The beast pounced towards The kazekage at full speed, only to be cut short as the anbu captain, yuudai, came out of seemingly nowhere at a speed to fast for Kaito to follow. He made a slashing motion with his fingers, sending a wave of wind directly towards Kaito's body, connecting with him and sending him flying backwards 8 meters. After he crashed into the ground, he almost immediately got back up, keeping himself in position on all fours. He growled towards Yuudai, and as he began committing his hand seals, Kaito pounced forward Once more, in one single bout clearing the distance of 8 meters, and holding his right hand out to the side, allowing his raw, blue chakra to form and rotate within his hand. His target was now Yuudai. He wasn't capable of thinking nor of rational thought. All there was for him to do was to end his target. He held his rasengan out at his side, and after clearing the distance between him and Yuudai, he held it forward, aiming it directly towards Yuudai's chest. If Yuudai didn't manage to block, nor counter the attack, his shit would be fucked up.
Meanwhile, deep from within his own mind, Kaito fought around throughout the darkness, looking throughout for somewhere, something to aspire to. Somewhere to reach. Something to achieve within the depth of his mind. There was still nothing but the emptiness, and nowhere for him to run.

Name: Spiralling Sphere (螺旋丸 - Rasengan)
Rank: A

Specialties: Ninjutsu

Description: The Rasengan is a spinning ball of chakra formed and held in the palm of the user's hand. Once it is formed, it also does not require any additional chakra to sustain it, which means that there is no definite limit to the number of times that the Rasengan can be used. Though the Rasengan's shape is consistent from user to user, its size varies from only barely large enough to be noticeable to much larger than the user's hand. On contact, the Rasengan grinds into its target, propels them along the Rasengan's trajectory - either away from the user (5-10 meters) or into the ground beneath them - and at some point bursts, causing severe damage at the point of contact.

| Munakata, his reflexes and speed naturally outmatching that of young Kaito, would immediately react as he drew close and lunged at Yuudai. Being right next to the ANBU Captain, it wasn't the difficult to move forward himself. Extending his arm in-front of Yuudai, he would attempt to grab Kaito's cloaked face as Munakata lunged forward, using his strength and own force to suddenly stop the jinchuriki and push him back. If his grab was successful, he would proceed to smash Kaito into the snow and then hold him there with his hand before doing a single handseal, activating the Temporary Paralysis Technique to restrain him. 781+108=889 words - Spoiler:
