Appearance: An overall pale-skinned individual with snow white hair, Myojin holds the typical traits of his home Clan; The snake-like fangs replacing his canines, the scales covering parts of his skin, the pale white patches of skin that are even paler than his natural skin color, and the red, snake-like eyes where his pupils are slit. On his upper left cheek is two small scales and his lower left jaw is one. There are also the occasional group of one to three scales all over his body, as well. In general he wears a blue and white Kimono over his pale skin, with bandages covering his lower stomach area. He wears dark Shinobi trousers with a blue cloth wrapped around it, and for his feet he wears regular sandals. His hair is of decent length for a male, mostly due to the lack of cutting it he has done lately. He also generally keeps a cocky smirk on his face. A triangular curve-shaped tattoo would come out of the sides of his eyes, the color of the tattoo being red as a means to signify his status as an offering.

The Person

Background: Born in 53 A.N, Myojin Yashagoro was one of the small group of children to be named "Myojin", or deity, as his clan tradition stated that when he becomes an old enough child, he will be exiled from the village, given to the Hakuja no Myojin as an offering. Of course his Clan didn't originally state such a terrifying truth to Myojin, whom of which was spoiled rather well alongside the other growing sacrifices, a gesture the parents would give their children before they were cast out. Throughout his young childhood nothing truly bad had happened. As he grew older he developed a habit of picking at some of his scales around his lower stomach area, causing constant stomach-pains, which was quickly solved by keeping bandages over the area as a means of preventing him from picking as the scales. He also learned plenty of how the Clan's curse came to be and how he and the other children are "special" enough to be chose by the great Hakuja no Myojin as the chosen ones of their group, where they would grow up one day to be capable of serving the great White Serpent God, too.

At first, Myojin along with the other Myojins would willingly accept these teaching without any thought being placed into it, though as he grew older, he began being confused as to why they were the supposedly special ones, and why their parents never specified what kind of work they will be doing in order to serve Hakuja no Myojin, and when his suspicions bloomed to the point where he nearly figured it out, it was too late. He already received the tattoos upon his eyes, just like the others, and they were all thrown a feast, which ended with the food given to the offerings being drugged. Before any of the Myojins realized it, they were now without a home in the middle of the wilderness. The red eyed Myojin would watch in fear as they dropped one by one, only to get devoured by various omnivores, including snakes, until it came down to just the two of them. The red-eyed and tan-eyed Myojins, drinking from a river as they tried to quench their thirst, only for a large, white water-snake to appear. it had light pink colors too the white scales, and its eyes were almost amber-like in appearance. It would devour the tan-eyed Myojin and then look at the final one, though it wouldn't strike. Instead, it went back into the river, where it left  Myojin himself, the red-eyed Myojin, to live.

From home to small village Myojin moved, though no home was truly permanent, his reliance on the kindness of strangers did prove successful for the most part. When it didn't he caught on to basic survival skills quickly, learning how to catch fish and hunt small animals in order to not starve when he was within the wilderness. The cycle went on like this until the now-teenaged Myojin happened upon Otogakure in 64 A.N, where he remained for a year, becoming a student at the Academy.

Personality: Myojin is overall a calm, chilled out individual. He can get quite cocky during competitions and games, though when in his off-time he is generally someone that likes to take things at his own pace, and be patient as interesting things will come to him. He is generally interested in becoming a Shinobi, and despite his friendly personality, he can get quite serious when on a mission. He has never killed a person before, nor does he wish to, for the sake of his own views on himself as a person. He doesn't believe in Myojin no Hakuja like he once did, where he worshiped it as a deity. Now, however, he knows that, while not a deity, there are beasts out there that are more than just your average beasts, and generally he can find himself dreaming of the snake that spared him as a child, leaving him behind after devouring the other sacrifice, and wondering if he would ever meet it again. He loves music, especially the Hotchiku, which attracts him for no apparent reason whatsoever. He doesn't understand the concept of honor, really, and is definitely one to throw sand or dirt in one's eyes in order to gain an advantage in combat.
